Examinations

  1. An academic year is divided into 2 terms.

  2. The school conducts class tests, periodic tests and terminal examinations. The report of these tests will be conveyed to the parents at the end of each term on the open house day. The report card should duly be signed by them.

  3. Students should appear in all the tests and examinations, as the promotion to the next higher class is based on the total performance in all the assessments.

  4. Minimum mark required for promotion is 50% in each subject on an average from all the tests and examinations.

  5. All the classes will have Internal Assessments which will be based on project works and other assignments.

  6. Students who absent themselves from any of the exams should take prior permission from the Principal.

  7. Any malpractice at the examination will be punished with suspension from the school.

  8. Test  papers are conducted on completion of  each chapter in all the subjects  if required by the teachers.

PROMOTION

  1. Promotion is granted on the basis of the general progress of the pupil during the academic year.

  2. The records of class tests, periodic tests, terminal examinations and annual examination will be taken into account at the time of promotion.

  3. Promotion  to  the   next   class   is   decided   on   the   aggregate   of  50 % in all the termly examinations including the annual examination.

  4. Students who are sick and are granted medical leave for genuine reasons during the examinations may be considered for the promotion, if their progress has been satisfactory throughout the academic year.
